New charity web site for CMDN

/, Web Design/New charity web site for CMDN

We first built a web site for The Children’s Mitochondrial Disease Network web site back in the early 2000’s. CMDN was founded by Paul and Rachel Preston after both their daughters died of Mitochondrial Disorders, they have a son Kieron who is 18, he is tube-fed, mentally and physically disabled, epileptic and has 24 hr care. Many questions remained unanswered, why, what and how. Paul felt these questions should be addressed and answered. Not only for his and his wife’s sake but for future children and indeed others parents who may go through a similar experience.

Red 2 Design first looked at a re-design of their logo. Paul had clear ideas of how he wanted it to be and so we developed it with these in mind.

This progressed to the development of a new site for CMDN. The site has to carry information about this rare disease but Paul also needs to post news and pictures to help with his fundraising.
